Boyo, here's an oldie but a goodie. My totally radical brother bought me a "Build Your Own Ukulele Kit" for my birthday last July (or was it Christmas of '08?), and here's what came out. Unexpectedly, the equally radical Matt Howard got me a pre-assembled ukulele for the same occasion, which let me go a little wild with this one. Alright, a lot wild.
I started by covering the pre-carved, circular hole. Needs more flavor.
Flavor achieved. A felt back for grip and additional flavor:
A little paint job.
And with some final accoutrements (like a mustache, obviously), we've got the finished product. I can totally rock on this thing.
