One day my good friend Zac offhandedly expressed his interest in having a pair of his signature New Balance 574s modified to have a "Z" on the side instead of the standard "N." I had to make it happen.
Thus began the challenge. Those N's are stitched on there tight.
Finally got them off. That pile of stitching is from just one of the four Zs.
Cleaning off the dirt surrounding the letters with a gummy eraser.
Reglueing the letters.
Excess glue. Cutting this off was the final step, and a real pain. The results were worth it though (see above). Zac loved 'em.
